The object repository page is designed to save web element attributes. During the creation of automation scripts, web elements will be automatically stored in the object repository page.
We can access the object repository page through the navigation path: Automation > UI Testing > Object Repository.
Recommendation:
From the Object Repository page, we can add new web elements, but we strongly recommend creating web elements either from the test script page or the custom function page only.
Use the Object Repository page to delete unused web elements that are not used in any test scripts. In the future, we plan to implement a feature that automatically deletes unused web elements with the click of a button
Use the Object Repository page to update web elements; this page is primarily designed for updating web elements.
The 'View Logs' feature will display the last 10 updates on an element. The 'View Log' button can be displayed against each element.
Removing unused elements will delete all web elements that are unused in the entire test script and custom functions.
